“The new car will only be ready shortly before the start of testing in Barcelona on February 23. From then on, it will be further developed and receive another update for the first race of the season on March 20 in Bahrain.
Last year, the rules remained the same. That’s why we decided to finish the 2021 season car very early. This decision turned out to be the right one at the time. But now it’s exactly the opposite: with the new rules, everyone wants to be ready as late as possible, also so as not to show everything too early,” said Helmut.
