Max Verstappen has been into a lot of controversies due to his aggressive racing style on the track. The Dutchman secured his first F1 championship last season. Despite such an incredible feat, the Red Bull driver has upset some fans. At least that’s what some fans are alleging. Despite such allegations, Red Bull’s former long-time engineer does not agree. The engineer worked for the Milton-Keynes-based team for six years and had an appraisal for the Red Bull star.

Talking about Verstappen, the engineer conveyed, “Worked at Red Bull for 6 years. He was one of the nicest and down-to-earth people you could meet. Was just as interested in your day and family as you would be his.”

What’s next for Max Verstappen?

The Red Bull speedster has been drawn into the controversy over his comments on the Mercedes car. Verstappen took a dig at W13 by saying that the car looks a bit “ugly”. Although Max has not made any statements on the w!#’s legality.

This has indeed shocked the fans. When asked about this, Max stated that he doesn’t like the way Netflix puts everything in place as “They faked a few rivalries which don’t really exist.”

Max is to go out in Bahrain in a week’s time to defend his title. This is one of the most anticipated season in F1 after a long long time.
