Despite the British Grand Prix being a thing of the past, the events that unfolded at the race continue to develop. The crash between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen polarised F1 fans across the globe. However, the incident also elevated the rivalry between Mercedes and Red Bull to a new level.

The incident saw Christian Horner and Toto Wolff unleashed a war of words with each other. While Horner blamed Hamilton entirely, Wolff believed it was a situation where two extremely competitive drivers refused to give in.

Ultimately, the stewards handed Hamilton a ten-second penalty, which he served in his solitary pit-stop. However, Red Bull immediately complained by saying the penalty didn’t justify the consequences of Verstappen’s crash.
