What an Italian Grand Prix we were served today direct from the Temple of Speed! On the one hand, Max Verstappen, true to his form, won yet another Grand Prix, it wasn’t as easy as it has been in 2023. Maybe that’s why, after fending off the early onslaught by the Ferrari boys, the Dutch lion’s historic Monza win has a different layer of iconic written all over it. That’s right! Verstappen is the first F1 driver ever to win 10 Grands Prix consecutively.

Spanish racing ace, Carlos Sainz made life difficult for the 2x champion as he defended from Verstappen like his life depended on it in the early phases of the race. However, once the 25-year-old Red Bull maestro found a way past, there was no looking back. In the end, he crossed the chequered flag to get 10 out of 10 this season. Naturally, his family and loved ones were all there to swarm him. But three special women in his life were surely the proudest!

Max Verstappen gets lauded by the women in his life after historic triumph

As soon as Max Verstappen parked his car in parc fermé, he gestured to the world, and the Tifosi in attendance of his historic triumph. And after winning a staggering 10 races in succession, he was swarmed on Instagram by three immense women who have helped shape his journey in Formula 1 so far.

Kelly Piquet, his girlfriend was the first to post a story. She was waiting with his team around the barricades as he zoomed towards them to celebrate. She posted a video of Verstappen climbing out of his car as he held both hands up to denote the number ten. She wrote, “Here’s to ten in a row @maxverstappen1″

Soon after, his mother and sister joined in the congratulatory trifecta. Victoria Verstappen, his sister, reposted F1’s official post on Instagram commemorating his win. His mother, Sophie Kumpen wrote, “You made history today,” with 10 trophies on story.

And while all three of them were elated beyond belief, his GF, Piquet was beaming as she attended the podium ceremony.

A moment that will go down as one of the most wholesome things an F1 cameraman has caught on tape, Piquet was seen uncontrollably smiling as she looked up to Verstappen as he stood on that iconic rostrum at Monza.
