Red Bull and Honda, together, pulled off a shocker in 2021 to win Max Verstappen his first-ever Formula One title against much resilient Mercedes AMG. However, the Milton Keynes outfit aren’t keen on making this a one-time event and are rather looking to repeat their 2021 success over the follow-up season as well. According to Formu1a.uno, a source close to Honda sounded quite displeased with the fact that Ferrari were able to reduce the E10 fuel deficit by 20hp with the help of Shell.

The name ‘E10’ is derived from the fact that the fuel carries 90% of fossil fuel and 10% of ethanol. And this caused the 2021 F1 cars to lose as much as 80hp. But, with Ferrari starting to retrieve the lost power back, there is a tinge of uneasiness within the paddock.

And in terms of the total power recovery, Ferrari have revived the recovery value from negative to positive, making a huge impact even before the start of the 2022 campaign; From -8% to 6%.
