Formula One is an exclusive and expensive sport. With an entry fee of 200 million dollars, it’s extremely difficult to enter the grid. However, Alpine have been thinking of introducing a B team on the lines of Red Bull and AlphaTauri.
Alpine which is part of the Renault group has Nissan & Mitsubishi under its belt and is considering entering the grid. Additionally, having another team on the grid could give the opportunity that young Alpine drivers have been waiting for.

It’s no secret that many aspire to have what Red Bull has; two teams on the grid and a pool of drivers. Hence, the Enstone-based team is thinking of bringing their own sister team to the grid.
As explained by British journalist, Joe Saward as quoted from FormulaPassion.it, “All these problems could be overcome if the Alpine had a customer team for its engines, but options seem limited at the moment. I have learned that Alpine is considering the idea of helping the creation of a new team, which would theoretically provide for an entry fee of $ 200 million, to create a scenario similar to that of Red Bull with the Alpha Tauri.”
