Dmitry Mazepin is unhappy with Steiner’s treatment of his son

Mazepin the father would have offered some money for the chassis exchange between the two drivers, getting Steiner’s refusal.

“And Dmitry Mazepin would have been annoyed, claiming greater influence within the team,” said the German newspaper F1 insider. (Quotes translated by Google Translate)

It is also reported that Dmitry Mazepin is looking to replace Gunther Steiner as team principal. Mazepin did not like when Guenther recently commented, “It is possible that one of our drivers has the fans and the other the money.”

Can Nikita Mazepin get ahead of his teammate Mick this weekend?

Mazepin has been struggling to match his teammate’s pace this season. The Russian driver trails Schumacher 7-1 in qualifying and 6-1 in the races. He has finished 20 seconds behind his teammate in every race this season.

Nikita needs to start finishing ahead of Schumacher to further silence his critics. He has another opportunity to put in a solid performance this weekend at the Austrian Grand Prix.
