In a recent interview, Hamilton apologized to the former Toyota driver Timo Glock as he wasn’t there to support him at the time. Why support him, you may ask? Glock received a lot of hate and threats after Hamilton passed him at Brazil to clinch his first world title, beating, the home hero, Felipe Massa, to the championship with just one point.

Talking about this, the seven-time world champion conveyed, “I’m sorry at the time I wasn’t able to, I didn’t understand what was going on for you in your world. I was very young, I’m sorry that I wasn’t able to support you in that time. If that was today, I know I could be there and support you!”
