Formula One is welcoming a new era in 2022. The cars will be designed to promote better racing and hopefully more competition. As the start of the season gets closer and closer, the teams are slowly revealing the details about their cars. Mercedes disclosed the name of their 2022 car.
The German team returned to the sport in 2010. They have dominated the Turbo-Hybrid era as they have won every single constructors’ championship since 2014. In 2021, they raced with the W12, which meant that it was their 12th car in the sport since their return.
According to Speedweek.com, Mercedes will race with W13 in the 2022 season, with Lewis Hamilton and George Russell at the helm. They recently gave a sneak peek at their new darker silver livery for next season.
