As one dominant champion aged, another champion emerged. 2013 was the year when Lewis Hamilton replaced Michael Schumacher at Mercedes. And what has followed is nothing short of absolute brilliance.

But contrary to many opinions, Michael’s son Mick Schumacher has believed the opposite. He was told by his father that someday someone better would come along. And will beat the record that has been held for years on end.

Speaking in an interview, he stated, ” I think one sentence my dad always used to say was ‘records are there to be broken’. And I think it’s everybody’s aim in this sport to do that.
