Earlier, Eddie Jordan suggested that Lewis Hamilton should team up with Max Verstappen at Red Bull. Christian Horner recently reacted to this plan, and he believes that Jordan was right, but only from a fan’s perspective.
During the press conference, Horner was asked if Lewis would be a good fit to team up with Max at Red Bull. “I wondered what Eddie had been drinking,” exclaimed Horner.
“Look, from a fan’s perspective, he’s absolutely right, but I’ve not heard from Lewis recently. So I can only imagine he’s staying where he is.

“I think everyone wants to see Verstappen and Hamilton go head-to-head. And hopefully, we can give Max the tools to do that, certainly in the remaining races of this year. But very much so next year and the year after.”
Max Verstappen’s seat in Red Bull’s RB16 has already been cemented for the near future. While Lewis Hamilton is yet to sign an agreement with any team on the grid for 2021.
Rumors of the Brit leaving Mercedes for a different team have been running amok. But it seems likely that he will stay with the team that gave him five championship titles.

“Whether he got it from Jos or whatever, I have no real idea, but the facts are that he has an unbelievable talent. And what I believe is if he had a teammate like Lewis Hamilton, then I do believe he would be able to beat him,” Jordan said.
