“Same Illegal Car”: Enraged F1 Fans Trash Red Bull for Disgraceful Unveiling

Red Bull has finally revealed their newest F1 challenger, the RB19. Today, almost aligning themselves with the New York fashion week, the Milton-Keynes-based outfit revealed the livery for their latest F1 behemoth. Now, the news was circling yesterday that the team was going to take a bold new design choice with their livery for 2023. However, even back then, the fans were apprehensive about jumping onto the hype train, to say the least. And it would appear that what the fans had feared has actually come true.

As soon as the Red Bull team revealed the livery for their 2023 car, the RB19, all the fans in attendance and the millions watching back home felt a sudden jolt of disappointment. Well, no one was expecting a radical livery design. But the least they expected was a minor change here or there. What actually transpired was more of a copy-paste job.

The RB19 looks exactly like its predecessor, the RB18! The livery on this year’s car remains virtually unchanged. And this hasn’t really gone down that well with the fans.

What irked the fans most was the whole hype created around this reveal. The event itself lasted for almost an hour. And the fans thought they’d get something for all the time they’d invested by either visiting or logging in. One fan even commented, “Same illegal car.”

A few fans also took to Twitter to angrily rant about the whole event. Evidently, it did not go down too well with the team.

After everything that the team had teased, the fans eagerly waited for around an hour. They sat through everything to just see a rehash of the same 2022 livery. This caught the ire of F1 fans on Twitter.

The entire F1 community swarmed to Twitter to troll the reigning champions.

Even through the mist of rage, the fans must’ve felt they took this opportunity to don their funny hats and take brutal jabs against the Milton-Keynes-based outfit.

There is general consensus amongst the fans now that Red Bull has strung along the same livery for far too long. But with the news of Ford partnering with the team from 2026 onwards, will we finally see a change of colors?
