Mick Schumacher might be out of the Haas, but he will still be in Formula 1 next season. Thanks to the reserve driver opportunity at Mercedes AMG F1, the young German will be on standby the next year to replace Lewis Hamilton or George Russell in case they can not particulate in a GP for any reason. As Schumacher Jr. found himself with the Silver Arrows, his uncle Ralf Schumacher finds the sign-up a brilliant bargain.
The former F1 driver is of the opinion that this opportunity will provide the son of legendary Michael Schumacher with enough experience for him to be a better driver and also fetch an F1 seat.

As per Motorsport Turkey, co-commentator for Sky Sports Germany. said, “I think this is a great opportunity because now he has an experienced team around him.” He further shared, “I think it’s a win-win situation for Mick and Mercedes.”

Wolff, talking about Mick Schumacher, stated in a report published by F1, “He won [the Formula 2 title] and that is not easy. Things can go against you in your first years in Formula 1. He was under pressure to deliver and that doesn’t help, and Formula 1 is brutal.”
