Lewis Hamilton is the greatest racer of his time. Don’t believe it? Well, you would surely believe Ralf Schumacher. He agrees with the fact and believes that it is natural for every era to have its legend.
The German knows that the Briton puts in the effort to take the checkered flag every time he rolls his Mercedes onto the grid. Therefore, he is full of praise for the 6-time World Champion and congratulates him for his impeccable record.
“Lewis is the greatest driver of his time!” said Ralf Schumacher on his weekly column. That may have hurt several Michael Schumacher fans, but Ralf would not sugarcoat his opinion.

Even after being the German phenom’s brother, Ralf could not be closer to the truth. He accepts the fact that each era will have a definitive figure and for this era, it is Lewis Hamilton.
“There have always been drivers who shaped a time: Fangio, Prost, Senna and these two too [Schumacher and Hamilton]. And at some point there will be the next formative figure,” pointed out the German.
Rightly said. What’s more, Lewis will have to face the fact that someone will step into the paddock and thrash the records he set.
However, the Briton has nothing to worry about at the moment, but time flows by sooner than we expect. Hamilton rests comfortably at the top of the food chain for now, but who’s to say that the regulations from 2022 won’t change the leaderboard.

“What makes Lewis so special? At the beginning of a race weekend, he feels his way to the limit bit by bit in the corners. He consciously accepts mistakes in order to know where the limit is.
“And over the course of the weekend, he, “just” brings everything together! He has the necessary intelligence to make the right decisions together with the team,” complimented Ralf Schumacher.

He is excited about the 2022 regulations and it pumps him more than ever. Honestly, it will take a bulldozer to stop the Briton from taking the checkered flag, and the new regulations will surely not bring such heavy machinery in.
