More than a month has passed since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and fans are still talking about the controversial decision given by the FIA that changed the course of the championship between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
The Red Bull driver took home the chequered flag that also saw him become a world champion. Hamilton congratulated his arch-rival but has been pretty quiet since then.
The 7-time world champion even chose not to go to the FIA gala. Former F1 driver Ralf Schumacher thinks this act of Lewis was pretty disrespectful to Max.

Ralf Schumacher thinks that Hamilton not going to the gala is unfair to Verstappen
Toto Wolff and Hamilton weren’t present at the FIA prize distribution gala, something that is compulsory for the top-3 team bosses and drivers to do.
On Lewis’ absence, Schumacher said to Sky Sports Deutschland as quoted by GPBlog, “It’s not at all fair to Max Verstappen to skip the gala.”

He does understand the Knight’s perspective, but also said it is time to “Open the next chapter”.

The 37-year-old has one more year with the Silver Arrows as part of his contract. However, it is still unclear whether the British driver would race in the upcoming Formula One season.
