Poor Strategies! DNFs! Crashes! Arguably, the only thing Ferrari and Charles Leclerc can rely on this year is one of these problems to mess up their race. The team is finding it very hard to make a race go smooth without either of their drivers confronting a calamity. Facing constant fan anger, pressure, and failures, the team has sunken and anchored itself right there.

With barely 10 races to go, many believe that Red Bull has wrapped up the championship. While Max Verstappen has managed an enormous gap over Leclerc, the Bulls can depend on Ferrari’s countless issues to help Verstappen. And though Leclerc is prone to mistakes himself, most of the time it’s his team cracking under pressure.

Famed racer Ralf Schumacher has even confessed to this. He announced, “The greatest support for Red Bull in the World Championship is called Ferrari.” Arguably, the former F1 driver is right. Out of the top three teams; Red Bull and Mercedes have looked stable under pressure.

The Maranello camp, on the other hand, almost acts like a new joinee. And though the team has managed a resurgence after a few years, they are quite easily letting the opportunities slip away. Despite having a championship-ready driver and car, they’ve not looked championship ready as of now.

The red teams are hawk-eyed as they’re assessed on how quickly they want to respond to each other. In Monaco, Red Bull drained Ferrari brilliantly, sending their pit wall into chaos after an undercut. Probably, French GP would’ve been a Verstappen win either way, given he pitted earlier over a changed Red Bull strategy.

Silverstone was another place where the Italian team’s team calls didn’t help. It possibly cost Leclerc another win, as they did not pit him for fresher tires. Further, the team expected Sainz to hold position while under attack from others.
