In the aftermath of Mercedes’ 7th Constructors’ title win at Imola, Lewis Hamilton admitted that he does not know if he would be in F1 next year. It caused quite a stir, kindling speculation that it might be the Briton’s final season in the sport.

Schumacher was quoted by Motorsport-Total as saying, “The seven titles that he wins don’t pass you by without a trace. It’s a lot of traveling, a lot of energy, a lot of sacrifice – and of course that is draining.” (Translated by Google Translate)
