Nobody can forget the dominance that Sebastian Vettel had with Red Bull during the last years of the V8 era. It seems like a thing of yesterday when Sebastian Vettel said, “We have to remember these days. Because there’s no guarantee that they’ll last forever! Enjoy them as long as they last. I love you guys!” Sebastian Vettel is now set to be reunited with his $1.3 million sweetheart, that helped him achieve a feat in his days at Red Bull. Who is this sweetheart?

Sebastian Vettel’s announcement of leaving the sport broke many hearts last year. One could tell from Vettel’s interviews how much he loved the sport and how passionate he was about it. Just when we thought we’ll never get to see the German in a modern F1 car again, Red Bull made an announcement of their event during the 12H Nurburgring. And yes, Sebastian Vettel will be reunited with “Kinky Kylie”, his RB7 from the 2011 championship-winning season.

Sebastian Vettel named all of his F1 challengers and RB7 was no different. The 4X world champion will be driving alongside his former teammate Daniel Ricciardo who will be driving the RB8. Vettel expressed the joy of driving an F1 car around the Green Hell. He seemed elated about the fact that the car will be driven on E-fuel and took it as an opportunity to show the world that these mean machines can be driven at their full potential with greener fuels.

According to GrandPrix247, Sebastian Vettel said, “The myth of the Nordschleife resonated, even if we only drove the GP track at the time. In any case, it will be great fun to drive my RB7 – fuelled with e-fuel – on the Nordschleife as part of a show run. ‘Motorsport is my passion. It’s important to me to show that racing cars can run just as well and quickly with synthetic CO2-neutral fuel. And that is already today!”

We’re all excited to see Sebastian Vettel back in an F1 car. However, this isn’t the only time we will see Sebastian Vettel around a racetrack.
