The Autosport Awards, for the unaware, are one of the most prestigious racing awards in motorsport. First held in 1986, the awards celebrate achievements and drivers across all major motorsport competitions. Many F1 drivers have won the Autosport Award in the past.
Vettel himself has also been a past recipient of the best driver award. However, the 2022 ceremony conducted on 4th December put the four-time world champion in the spotlight.

The German received the 2022 Gregor Grant Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremony. A prestigious award celebrating the life of Vettel in Formula 1. A well-deserved award! However, no good deed goes unnoticed.
According to Chris Medland, the German wanted to receive the award at the hands of the longest-serving employee at Autosport. A thoughtful gesture from Vettel.
However, it wasn’t just the gesture that caught everyone’s attention. It was Vettel’s attire for the award ceremony.

An extremely rare occurrence but an absolute delight, the German turned up in a black suit and bow for the award ceremony. Seeing Vettel look absolutely dapper, the fans are expressing their raw emotions on Twitter.
