The game of Jenga came with a pleasant twist– each block had a sticker with an interesting question. As Mick pulled out a block, Vettel was asked to do an impersonation of Mick. The kind soul said, “I cant. Because you are too well-educated, too well-spoken; you have no weaknesses! No weak links in the chain.”

Seb’s list of compliments did not end there. “No accent, no funny nose or ear… Nothing strange. You’re just too good looking and too good!” Vettel went on to ask Mick to mimic him, but he shied away from it.

Vettel made up for it, as he went on to imitate Schumacher’s boss. As Guenther Steiner, Vettel says, “F*cking tell me!… You really pulled one off here.” Mick was left chuckling, while Vettel was very proud of his impersonation skills.

The duo revealed that their earliest memory of each other was a decade ago. A 12-year-old Mick and a 24-year-old Vettel sat on a plane and played Angry Birds together; a sweet genesis of a sweeter friendship.

The German pair talked about tattoos- Vettel would get a bird and allotted a dragon for Mick- and spending time on Mick’s ranch. “We can go to my ranch! And do some farming. We have cows there,” Mick’s eyes lit up as he suggested the idea. However, Vettel was looking for something else. “You got a tractor?” was the question. “Worse,” was the reply.

As Schumacher and Vettel continue to win the hearts of F1 fans everywhere, everyone wishes to see the two in the sport long enough to hold a mirror to what Seb shared with Michael. Regardless, the last year has given us enough reason to root for the two.
