Amidst the speculation, the 36-year-old was recently featured on a podcast, sharing his thoughts on young drivers, including Oscar Piastri, who had a phenomenal rookie season. What excites him is that he cannot take his eyes off while watching the race.

Vettel expressed,” Oscar was very exciting last year obviously it was a strong rookie season but I think obviously there’s a lot of talk about it but I think Max the way you know he stepped up the level which he’s driving the Perfection he’s close to achieving every single weekend other than that yeah I think there’s exciting drivers trying to push through even though they haven’t quite managed but there’s huge potential drivers like George Lando Charles you mentioned Oscar.”

“I’m sure I forgot one or the other but I think Yuki also has a strong, you know, tendency and growth in the last one and a half years which is great to see it will be interesting to see what’s happening, you know, in the future with the with those sort of uh you know kids taking over.”
