Sebastian Vettel is a 4-time world champion. The very assertion of the fact states that he is not here to just race, he is here to win. However, with the upper hand of destiny at play, the racer is going through a rough patch. His confidence took an enormous hit; his performance entrapped in a negative spiral.
However, the situations have been getting better since Vettel signed a 2021 seat with Aston Martin, rebranded Racing Point. The RP20, a machine that suits Vettel’s spirit, will hopefully help the German to quick redemption. Yet, till then the critiques will tear apart the Ferrari no. 5.
Although the elements off-grid dismiss the several problems troubling the Sebastian Vettel, the people on the grid are well aware of it. Honestly, it pains and agonizes every staunch fan of the sport to see a legend being dragged into the mud.

Guenther Steiner shared his views on the subject and they are no different from Rosberg’s.
“As long as you give your best, you don’t fail. He failed to achieve the world championship title, but he didn’t fail as a driver. You also have to be in the right place at the right time. He shouldn’t blame himself, Formula 1 is a team sport,” remarked the Haas principal.
Rightfully stated by the Italian, Formula 1 is a team sport. Vettel may have had a couple of critical years, but he has won several podiums for the Prancing Horse. Therefore, it was also the responsibility of the team to hold the relationship together to ensure that the racer does not lose his trust.
F1 Legend Urges Sebastian Vettel to Consider Retirement
Sebastian Vettel is not at Fault in Ferrari
It is not just Guenther Steiner, the entire grid knows that Ferrari is not the best place to be right now. Even though Carlos Sainz makes his way to the Red Italians next year, he is far more skeptical now. However, he has this season to focus on first. His future does not bother him in the present. Ferrari developed a car regarding Leclerc, but even then the Monagasse failed to yield satisfactory results. Thus, there is no point in blaming Vettel.

“At the moment, it is difficult for any driver to become world champions for Ferrari. But there are always ups and downs. There were also times when Ferrari dominated. Just like Red Bull dominated. Four world championship titles – I think that’s okay,” Guenther Steiner said to F1 Insider.
