In a bid to draw more eyeballs towards BWT, the Aston Martin sponsor has shaken hands with the team’s star driver and 4-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel.
Sebastian has thus become a brand ambassador for them and as a result, the German will now sport a pink-colored helmet for the 2021 F1 season.
Usually, Vettel has always preferred a pristine white-colored lid with the colors of the German flag on it. So this will definitely be a shift from the usual for him.

However, it is a massive win for BWT and their new campaign, which endears to make drinking water available all around the world from taps rather than plastic bottles.
Speaking about his deal with BWT, the ex-Ferrari driver, who is excited to pilot the AMR21, said, “The future is important and we must do our best to protect the planet for children and young people. We all share this responsibility and if we come together we can make a difference.

“As a Formula 1 driver, I think it’s right to speak up on this subject and have my voice heard. I am pleased to have found a partner in BWT that shares the same perspective and goals.
“By cutting down the amount of plastic waste, we can make the world a little better, sip by sip.”
What does the ‘sip by sip’ message that Sebastian Vettel is promoting entail?
The rear side of Sebastian’s helmet will bear the quote, ‘change the world sip by sip’. As mentioned earlier, the idea is to reduce the usage of plastic bottles. But how will they go about this campaign?
For starters, the plan is to convert kindergartens and schools into ‘bottle-free zones.’ Thus reducing the plastic waste being generated whilst also assuring students get safe drinking water.
