Fallows will make his way to Aston Martin as chief engineer in April. He will be working alongside Vettel as his director in the team. It was announced in June that Fallows will be making a move to his new team; however, it was expected to be dragged out because his contract was extended till 2023.

Despite the limitations, Fallows will work with Aston Martin in 2022, but will remain a “Red Bull Technology employee.” Aston Martin CEO Walt Whitmarsh said, “We are pleased to have reached an agreement with Red Bull which releases Dan early from his contract and are looking forward to him joining the team.”

What will Fallows do alongside Sebastian Vettel in Aston Martin?

Dan Fallows will be a part of a triad of technical leaders at Aston Martin. He will be accompanied by Performance director Tom McCullough and Engineering Director Luca Furbatto. Furbatto moved from Alfa Romeo at the end of the previous season. This is all a part of Lawrence Stroll reimagining his team in hopes of being a championship-contending car in five years.

Fallows worked at Red Bull since 2006; he has been a part of all the troughs and peaks of the team, ending on a high note. This includes the four drivers’ and constructor’s championship won with Sebastian Vettel.
