There have been reports he might join the rising motor sport series Formula E as suggested by DS Automobiles’ head.

Will Sebastian Vettel join Formula E next season?

DS Automobiles had Thomas Chevaucher recently reveal the news. He said that because of Vettel‘s interest in environmental issues, he might choose to race in Formula E in the future. He mentioned the series is perfect for the current Aston Martin driver as it matches his beliefs.

He said, “Sebastian is very interested in environmental protection and has climate change in mind, just like we do in Formula E. We do not know to what extent he is interested in continuing his career in Formula E.”

“That shouldn’t be the issue here, either. But we would like to give him the opportunity to try out a CO2-neutral racing car,” added Thomas.

But Sebastian has not spoken about anything regarding his future in Formula One. There is a possibility that he might extend his contract with Aston Martin at the end of the season.

But racing in Formula E is a good opportunity for the 4-time world champion who is a big supporter of Co2 neutral lifestyle. Vettel has previously stated that he loves motorsport and particularly loves racing. So he might not be done with competing against the best drivers in the world just yet.
