Sebastian Vettel Looking Forward to Aston Martin F1 Switch as ‘You Can Trust Them’

Sebastian Vettel recorded the worst season of his career last season with Ferrari. The German joined the Maranello based team in 2014 and raced with them for six years. He now moves on to Aston Martin, who are making a comeback as a Formula 1 constructor after six decades.
However, The German would have hoped for a different circumstance for leaving the red team. He ended his chapter with them finishing P13 of the standing with just 33 points and a single podium; A massive downgrade when compared to the P5 position with 240 points in 2019.
As he moves on to the next chapter of his Formula 1 career, the former champion talks about the anticipation of working with Aston Martin. “It’s more a matter of curiosity,” said the German on the new project’s success.

“I’m extremely excited about the project and I’m really looking forward to it. Nobody can give you guarantees, but the term curiosity already contains a lot of positive energy. And you can trust them,” he further added.

Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari had a few public disagreements this season. As a Formula 1 driver, trust in both the car and the team is essentially important for a powerful performance. The German admitted that feeling a part of the team is extremely important.
He said, “Because you want to achieve something together and don’t want to be left alone. Since trust is the staple food for. The opposite would be mistrust. And then the path that you want to take together would be very, very far away.”
