Sebastian Vettel made a switch from Ferrari to Aston Martin in 2021. Failing to see any progression, the German driver retired from the sport at the end of the 2022 season. However, with the arrival of Fernando Alonso, the team believes they won’t miss Sebastian. Could this be because Fernando Alonso is currently the most experienced driver on the Formula 1 grid?

Lawrence Stroll had made a commitment to be able to compete for race wins in 5 years. Aston Martin have completed 2 of those years. Their commitment to excel is, however, right on track. The signing of Fernando Alonso and former Red Bull chief of aerodynamics, Dan Fallows is a step in that direction.

Another big step is the under-construction state-of-the-art factory in Silverstone which will have an in-house wind tunnel.
