The tales of the upbringing of Max Verstappen are unfolding step by step, much like Lewis Hamilton’s a few years back. The two-time F1 world champion’s stories are being told in different forms, with the most recent addition being a documentary by Viaplay titled “Max Verstappen: Anatomy of a Champion.” A glimpse of the episodes released has been fabulous, revealing a side of the Dutchman that is perceived differently by the world than what he truly is.

Max Verstappen’s dad played a major role in his upbringing. The two have been very close since the beginning. While the fans have sympathy for the Red Bull driver for dealing with the alleged toxicity at the hands of his father, the Dutch driver loves him so much more. This was in fact revealed more closely in a video from the said documentary, where a young Max Verstappen spilled the hilarious sleeping arrangement in the Verstappen house.

In a video from the past, where the narrator is touring the house and showing around bedrooms in Max’s house, the future superstar makes an appearance while sitting on a toilet. The young Max corrects the narrator on record. The conversation takes place as follows:

Narrator: This is where Sophie and Jos sleep.

Max: No

Narrator: No? Then who sleeps there?

Max: Mama and Victoria

Narrator: Where do you and Papa sleep?

Max: In that room.

Narrator: In the bunk bed?

The innocent and loving Max unknowingly spills the secrets of the house of the time before his parents got divorced. He then went on to live with his father, while his sister, with whom he is extremely close as well, lived with Max’s mother, Sophie Kumpen.

Max Verstappen absolutely roasts Ferrari

The clips from the Max Verstappen documentary have brought out a more humane and casual side of the 25-year-old. Otherwise considered a super serious driver, it shows him in a more natural element than probably anything else.

One such incident that has gone viral is the part where Max roasts his team’s rival Ferrari over their infamous shenanigans in the pitlane. Sitting in a car, talking before the Brazilian GP, the current championship leader says, “More chaos (referring to rainy racing conditions on the weekend). But in the dry, Ferrari has more options to f**k up the strategies.”
