Neymar Jr. has always shared a close bond with the adopted son of his nation, Lewis Hamilton. He was amongst the many A-listers who attended the most iconic race in the Formula 1 calendar and history, Monaco Grand Prix. While he has always been a vocal supporter of Hamilton, even during the weekend, for a brief moment, things didn’t seem very rosy between the Brazilian duo. However, what unfolded on Sunday night put the rumors to rest.

The race on Sunday marked the Principality’s 80th outing. The Monaco GP held on the banks of the Mediterranean is one of the jewels in the Triple Crown of the motor sporting world, which attracts a sea of celebrities. One such was the 31-year-old soccer star.

Though invited by rivals Red Bull, the Brazilian was not shy in declaring his love for Lewis Hamilton. In a Twitter post by Neymoleque|Fan, he was seen running after the man’s scooter, but Hamilton didn’t stop to acknowledge him igniting rift rumors.

However, with what unfolded at the after-party, it seems like the Mercedes driver was probably in the zone to pay attention to people around. As he was out of the racing mindset and intended to let his hair down at the party, he saw Neymar and gave him the heartiest of hugs, putting conjectures to rest.

Tom Holland was invited by the reigning champions, but in a pre-race interview by Will Buxton when asked who he supports, he said, “Lewis, Always”. And a similar story rolled out with Milton Keynes’ other guest as he hailed Hamilton as well.

Neymar was spotted partying at the Red Bull energy station on 27th May and for a brief moment, the world craved to see him alongside Hamilton. And the man vocalizing his support said, “I love F1 and above all I love Hamilton, who is a great friend of mine. I will support Red Bull and root for my friend.”
