In Abu Dhabi, romance is in the air. To be precise, romance might be in the air. Chelsea loanee Joao Felix’s ex-girlfriend and Portuguese actress Margarida Corceiro has made a surprise appearance at the Yas Marina circuit. However, the aforementioned romance is not about the Chelsea star, she is now apparently linked to McLaren’s Lando Norris.

During the Monaco Grand Prix weekend in May, Lando Norris was photographed taking a drive with the Portuguese actress. While he has remained stoic about his relationship status with Corceiro, the rumor mill has started spinning with a second appearance. What, exactly, is happening?

Lando Norris’ Surprise Guest in Abu Dhabi

Taking to Instagram, Margarida Corceiro captured the colorful aerobatics that was on display before the Free Practice sessions. She then posted another story later capturing the beautiful skylines of Abu Dhabi. While it is not unusual for celebrities to make an appearance at different races across the racing calendar, the Monaco Grand Prix, alongside the Briton racing star, has raised some eyebrows.

The couple, along with one more friend were captured taking a drive on the streets of Monaco. After this, Lando Norris and Corceiro were also captured partaking in dinner along with several friends. While it is entirely possible that the two met in a strictly social setting, that didn’t stop the internet from shipping the pair together.

Incidentally, this is not the first time Margarida is dating a sports star. Back in 2022, she and Chelsea Loanee soccer player Joao Felix reportedly ended a long-term relationship. Norris is also fresh from a break-up.

He apparently recently ended a relationship with another Portuguese model, Luisinha Oliveira. Naturally, some prodding questions were brought to Lando’s attention by some curious journalists. In an attempt to answer, Lando gave a candid confession.

Lando Norris Has Nothing to Hide

As a result of his presumed relationship with Corceiro, angry Felix fans started giving Norris flak. Commenting on this in an interview, Norris had the following to say. “I haven’t tried to hide anything when I’ve gone out to a restaurant. You are allowed to do whatever you want. I know that so many presumptions are made just because I’m seen with someone, which I find hilarious. If I wanted to hide something I feel I can hide it well — but I’m not trying to hide anything.”

Fans continue to speculate, stating basically that this is a non-answer. While he didn’t confirm that the pair are in a relationship, he didn’t deny it either.
