Ferrari’s start to the 2023 season has been nothing short of a disaster. The recent Monaco GP was one they would like to forget. Crashes, penalties, and strategic errors plagued the weekend. Anything that could go wrong did go wrong for Ferrari. The Scuderia are 4th in the constructors standing right now and the only hope to improve looks to be the new upgrade package coming to the Spanish GP.

However, the upgrades are not the only new thing coming to Barcelona. Very much like what Ferrari did for Charles Leclerc in Monaco, the same has been done for Carlos Sainz at his home race. Leclerc made a special racing suit for his home race in Monaco which features the colors of his flag. With Carlos Sainz’s home race coming up this weekend, Ferrari has revealed the special racing overalls for him.

A picture Tweeted by @FanaticsFerrari showcases the special racing overalls for Carlos Sainz. Since it’s his home race, the colors Yellow and Red are used in combination, just like the Spanish National Flag. There’s a new cap with 55(Sainz’s racing number) and his signature on it. New shoes have the number 55 with Carlos Sainz written on them. Then comes the racing suit, which has a blocky Red and Black pattern with Yellow highlights all around.

Whether the suit looks good or not depends on the perspective. However, one common theme revolved around when Ferrari revealed this new design. It was people trolling Ferrari for coming out with a new race suit when their car’s performance has been subpar. Let’s see what the fans have to say.

Fans react to the special racing overalls for Carlos Sainz’s home race

Fans took to Twitter to slander Ferrari for coming up with the special one-off racing suit rather than coming up with upgrades for the car. Many suggested that Ferrari is now only capable of making these special suits and not a competitive car. Others suggested that the color schemes look familiar to what a McDonald’s employee wears.
