Lando and Daniel. Daniel and Lando. Landan. Norric. Whatever you call them, just know that they’re back! The duo is back! Lando Norris and Daniel Ricciardo reunited, and the Formula 1 community couldn’t have gotten a better reintroduction, even if it wanted. Norris and Ricciardo were the F1 duo almost everyone knew they wanted, and, much to their delight, they got it. When McLaren signed Ricciardo in 2021 to partner with Norris, the F1 community expected it to be a formidable driver pairing on track. While that didn’t pan out as planned, the off-track shenanigans did, and the pair bonded over something they’ve both become popular for—photography.

Well, they’re not exactly famous for the quality of their photography. Mostly just their amateur photography Instagram accounts. Almost a year ago, Norris started his photography page, lando.jpg. Because of the fun things they did together off-track, Ricciardo quickly became a frequent feature in his posts. And soon enough, Ricciardo started his own photography page, daniel3.jpg. And as expected, Norris features on it pretty often too. Over the past year, it’s been established that the duo loves photography. But when Daniel left the F1 grid at the end of last year, his Lando and F1 content on daniel.jpg reduced too. Needless to say, fans were a little disappointed. But not anymore!

About a week ago, AlphaTauri announced that the Australian would replace Nyck de Vries from the Hungarian GP. Much to Landan fans’ delight, they got the duo’s reunion earlier than expected because they shared a flight to Hungary and took to Instagram to announce they were back. Lando posted a series of goofy pictures they clicked and captioned it, “We’re photographers. We’re back,” and Daniel posted a different set of photos, captioning them, “Well, guess we’re back.” And Landan fans were over the moon.

Landan fans need a landan.jpg Instagram page

Norris and Ricciardo have been part of fan-favorite duos—Lando with Carlos Sainz: Carlando; and Daniel with Max Verstappen: Maxiel. Although both duos are fan favorites, Landan became an instant hit when Ricciardo joined McLaren in 2021. And since then, their fans have been spoiled by their content. While it reduced a little after Ricciardo’s departure from the grid at the end of last year, fans can’t get enough now that he’s back. And they took to Instagram to reply to both of their posts.

Many fans couldn’t stop gushing over both posts’ cuteness.

Because they’re both so loved in the F1 community for their meme-able actions, especially when they’re together, one fan wrote: “honey wake up, a new meme format just dropped.”

As much as fans loved the reunion, many demanded a joint photography page on Instagram.
