Lewis Hamilton loves engaging himself in adventure sports like skydiving when he is not behind the wheel in F1. He has attributed his need for such thrilling activities to the need for adrenaline to keep going. However, he is open to raising the stakes with one crazy thing which he admits he is not ready for just yet.

Lewis Hamilton has quite a curious mind. He loves to innovate and educate himself on the engineering side of things. In one of his interviews, he admitted to repairing his karts back in the day and loving the engineering and mechanical side of it. Maybe that attracts him to the innovations Elon Musk has done with his ventures SpaceX and Tesla.

Lewis Hamilton aspires to go on a trip to space

Elon Musk took the world by storm when he announced his space tourism passion project. The project aims to take humans on a trip to space, for a fee of course. “But Elon, and what he’s doing with SpaceX and Tesla — he’s got such a great mind. He’s doing some incredible things. He’s such an intelligent man. And I would love to go to space, so I’ll keep a close eye on what he’s doing. There’s just so little that we know, isn’t there? So much that hasn’t been explored. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens in our lifetimes.”

Lewis really is, like many of us, obsessed with the beauty and intrigue of interstellar objects. Earlier this year he lauded NASA’s efforts in launching the James Webb Space Telescope.

In the caption, he wrote, “I love space and gazing into the stars. The idea that the universe is so large and we are so small, yet each so special is amazing. @nasa’s new telescope allows us to see the deepest parts of space history has ever seen. We’re looking at the first galaxies that formed after the Big Bang!! The universe is so powerful and everything about it is amazing. I’m so grateful to be a part of it with you all.”
