Ricciardo finished the Mexican GP race in a much-improved P7 after starting the race from P11. In spite of struggling down the order, the man from Land Down Under made a brilliant comeback to finish ahead of Alpine’s Esteban Ocon.

What’s more important is the 10 seconds time penalty that Ricciardo received after hitting the side of Yuki Tsunoda. Following this, the magnificent drive from Ricciardo brought him back to the points as well as kept him in the exact place he finished the race despite the penalty.
