Right from a month-long break and straight into the second race in as many weeks, the fans are loving the back-to-back nature of the triple header. Apart from the fans, Max Verstappen will be excited as he heads into his home Grand Prix.

The Dutchman is on an incredible run of form, with two wins in a row. The results of such incredible racing are evident as Verstappen cruises towards his second championship title.

The incredible performances from the Red Bull man are also motivating his fans to flock to the stands in herds. Verstappen’s orange army, in the past few years, has acquired quite a reputation for itself. The fans travel in masses to fill the stands to show their support for the Dutchman.

No one can blame them as well, as Verstappen is the most successful Dutch driver in the sport’s history. The Dutchman’s fans have made a patent for themselves in the last few years. If it wasn’t anyway easy enough to spot the bright orange t-shirts, the army started burning flares in the grandstands.

The flares that let out an orange smoke have now become a common practice of the Dutch contingent. The smoke from the multiple flares creates a massive orange cloud. Nothing announces the presence of the Dutch fans in a grander way.

However, the orange cloud has become a nuisance for the circuit officials. Because of this, the security at the Dutch GP is taking measures to ensure clear skies.

Max Verstappen fans dealt a blow ahead of the Dutch GP with a massive announcement

The measure taken by the circuit officials might not be enough to stop the orange skies for the Grand Prix weekend. The measure taken by the circuit officials are in the form of an announcement. An announcement, made on a digital billboard, reads, “Flares are not allowed on site. Hand them in at the gates.”

Safe to say, as soon as the photo of the billboard hit the internet, the entire fandom took to Twitter to mock the security measure.

Some fans made predictions there will definitely be flares during the race. However, all those predictions went down the drain, as a fan used the first of his weekend’s supply of orange flares, in FP1 itself.
