Max Verstappen cruised home to the Belgium GP win

Max Verstappen started on the soft tires like the Top 4 runners and easily overtook them. As we mentioned, by Lap 17, after the first round of pit stops was made, Max Verstappen comfortably overtook Perez and then just led the race. The Dutchman did have a moment up Eau Rouge and then later complained about the gust making it difficult for him to steer, but nothing major.

Sergio Perez couldn’t do anything about Verstappen’s pace. According to RBR_Daily’s Tweet, Sergio Perez in the post-race interview said “I was doing my own race then Max came through pretty fast and I could do nothing. Then it was just about bringing it home.”
