Formula 1 is a tight-knit traveling circus. Even though the 20 drivers on the grid compete week in and week out on the same piece of tarmac, being in such proximity always does lead to a certain amount of camaraderie among them. Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and Pierre Gasly recently proved this point.

The United States Grand Prix was arguably one of the best races we’ve seen in 2022. It was filled with action, overtakes, safety cars, you name it! In light of this, Lewis Hamilton took to social media to share his view of the weekend on Instagram. We saw a bit of F1 driver banter along the way, too!

Pierre Gasly has a habit of showcasing his race weekend photo dumps. Hamilton took a swipe at it whilst sharing his collection of photos from the weekend on his Instagram account.

He wrote, “Posting a photo dump before @pierregasly posts his ~ it’s the little things in life. Much love Austin, till next time [American flag].”

Lando Norris was quick to jump on the banter wagon. He commented, “Liked by Pierre Gasly.”

The icing on the cake was Gasly’s own response to Hamilton’s post. “Ngl, liked & saved that one.” He also went on to proclaim Hamilton as the GOAT on his Instagram story using a couple of emojis.

The fans loved this banter amongst the F1 drivers they adore. It was fascinating and heartwarming to see Hamilton, a veteran and certified GOAT of the sport, engaging and having some fun with the younger, future stars of Formula 1.

The hilarious exchange on Instagram between the F1 trio did not go unnoticed by F1 fans. They quickly took their turns to share their reactions in the comments section of Lewis Hamilton’s Instagram post.

One user commented, “Hamilton and Gasly = it would be an amazing brocedes.”

Fans were also quick to appreciate the 7x Champion’s lighter side. “Lewis’ sense of humour>>>>.”

Later on, Gasly also left another comment on Hamilton’s post. He said, “Taking dumps to new levels.” To which a user commented, “@pierregasly worlds best Instagrammer.”

In general, fans were loving this interaction between the trio. It can all be summed up by this one comment, “definitely liked by @pierregasly :)”
