And as the Netflix fever takes over, the fans are hyping it further and turning up their creativity as another ultimate crossover of posters featuring the top F1 aspects coming together with the OTT platform’s popular shows comes under the spotlight. And as that happened, the light also fell on the Mercedes drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, who were imposed on the poster of the show “You,” a show in which a stalker takes extreme steps to intrude in people’s lives.

The photo is ever so iconic as it features a young Russell looking at the then-McLaren driver, which was also their first encounter going back to 2009. Russell, who was 11 at the time, according to Sky Sports, described the meeting as, “It was like meeting a superhero. When you’re a child at that age and you meet an F1 driver, you don’t think those people are human. That was a really special moment for me,” and a decisive factor behind him choosing F1 as a career. But as Russell calls Lewis his hero, fans call the look on his face rather creepy, making the iconic photograph a perfect background for the poster of the show.

Fans share their hilarious jabs at Lewis Hamilton and George Russell

The Netflix show “You” has had a huge following over the years and has four seasons, all to critical acclaim. Blending it with the Mercedes drivers, who were perfectly toned for the setting and vibe, only made it better. It perfectly highlights the situations that many celebrities face due to stalking by their fans, and George perfectly, innocently, and hilariously personifies that.
