It has finally happened!!! Mick Schumacher is a points scorer in F1. The Haas driver had a job to do at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone, in front of a capacity crowd.

Schumacher had all to do in the race as he started from P19 after a disappointing qualifying. But he made a good getaway from the line and dodged all the chaos. He showed the pace throughout the 52 laps in Silverstone.

After crossing the line in P8, Schumacher could not hide his excitement and expressed his delight on the radio,

“You guys are fu**king brilliant, fu**king brilliant. Prove them wrong and believe in yourself. That’s what I said to dad,” said an emotional Schumacher on his radio.

Mick’s sister Gina was overjoyed with his brother’s result and took to the team radio to wish him. “Hey Mick, Super Super Super,” said Gina.

The performance also delighted the F1 fans and took to social media to share their reactions. They were equally ecstatic for the young German driver who has faced a lot of pressure this season.

The Haas driver fights the world champion in Silverstone

Schumacher and Verstappen put a treat for the fans in the closing stages of the race. Mick was not satisfied with P8 and wanted more and had an exciting wheel-to-wheel battle with Max.
