Max Verstappen faced a spoiled British GP! The Red Bull driver damaged some bodywork after he drove the car over a kerb. Sadly, the weekend was simply not nice for Verstappen. After being booed consistently, the driver also couldn’t take pole position, and later faced troubles with his machinery after the damage.

The race itself had a total dramatic start. After 5-6 car crash delayed the race, Verstappen had to settle for P2 again. He initially overtook Carlos Sainz, but the restart pushed him behind. Later on, a Sainz mistake finally gave Verstappen the much-desired lead.

Max Verstappen faced a tough time at the British GP

Verstappen, however, soon enough faced a major issue too. His car slowed down as we heard this on the radio, “A ran over a bit of carbon. Keep checking the car. Tyres are not lovely. I think I’ve got a puncture or something.” The dutchman’s party was spoiled very much at that moment as he could continue but not competitively. Twitter has also reacted to this incident now.

British crowd cheered on as he soon further revealed, “The car is 100% broken”.

Earlier, Verstappen sat at the table lead. However, The damage to his bodywork could make things worse for him if Ferrari manages to catch up to him. Red Bull, overall, faced a tough time as even their second driver Perez faced issues with the car. This obviously favored Lewis Hamilton’s chances of a podium place or even a win.
