McLaren brought the promised Baku updates and for the first time this season began showing some promise even when they were handed a difficult circuit like Baku to do that. However, Lewis Hamilton‘s current team still hasn’t made strides like his old motoring home, as Mercedes perhaps will rendezvous with their upgrades at Imola. This wait and unfulfilled promises have now made the Silver Arrows fans more restless than ever.

Let’s keep pushing. Still, I Rise. These two are the favorite motivational lines of the 7x champ Lewis Hamilton. And while this is exactly the attitude one should have while winning and even more so while losing, the patience on every end is running thin. As quoted by Formu1a, Lewis has stated he is really proud of the team. And also that, “the mentality in the team is great” and the winning mindset combined with everyone’s focus will probably get them out of this slump.

He said, “It’s just taking some steps… I think this is just a build to getting to where we need to be. And that’s all we can ask for right now until we can get those upgrades – which will hopefully put us much more in the fight.”

He further added, “We knew from early on we’d have some races until this upgrade, so I’ve just been counting the days and weeks down. We don’t know exactly how good the upgrade will be, but we know it will be the start of something new for us.”

And hearing another promise without a concrete timeline and no light at the end of this winless tunnel, fans have now called the man and his team out.

Fans get impatient hearing Lewis Hamilton’s yet another promise.

While Hamilton keeping in mind a promising future, said, “It will be the start of something new,” it sounded like the High School Musical song but probably fans are dreading if the coming upgrades will be as beautiful as a high school romance or will the horror show continue.
