However, it wasn’t only the future 7-time champion who was new to the team at that time. Toto Wolff, one of the most successful team bosses out there, also started his journey with Mercedes the same year. New team, new people, new environment, and that’s how the Austrian journey at Silver Arrows began. Cut to 2023. Fans celebrate as the same Toto Wolff completed 10 years in Mercedes, having smashed multiple records as a boss.
The more it is said about Toto, the less it is. To describe it simply, Wolff came, stayed, and he conquered. Back-to-back eight constructors’ championships and seven driver’s titles are no joke as he went on to break Red Bull’s streak of back-to-back titles.

Toto Wolff reached a new height even before the start of the 2023 F1 season. Fans rejoiced and began celebrating the great occasion as soon as Mercedes posted their boss with his close ones in the team. Lewis Hamilton, Valtteri Bottas, George Russell, Late Niki Lauda were all there.
