The Monaco GP had a delayed start thanks to the poor weather. All drivers were on their wet tires, but as the race continued, the track dried up. Going from wets to inters and then to slicks, the teams had to go for more pit stops than usual. And the pit-stop strategy is where the Milton Keynes based-team was ahead of the Prancing Horses in Monaco.

Red Bull F1’s pressure on Ferrari in Monaco
Red Bull and Ferrari are undoubtedly the strongest this season. This is evident from their performance in the 2022 season so far. Both the teams have been fighting neck-to-neck since day one. Further, both the F1 teams need to be calmer as the fight will only intensify over the 2022 season.

The Red Bull chief advisor Helmut Marko recently shared his thoughts on the Ferrari’s performance in Monaco. The 79-year-old claimed, “You are under pressure, Leclerc has a hard time with that and makes mistakes. This is racing. Helmut Marko is still expecting a Mercedes comeback
The Milton Keynes base is busy fighting Ferrari for the championship for now, but they still haven’t forgotten about Mercedes. The Silver Arrows didn’t have the season as they wanted it to be so far. Both the Mercedes drivers have been struggling with the 2022 challenger as they have constantly complained about porpoising.

However, the Silver Arrows have showcased some improvements in the recent races. So, the Red Bull chief believes, “Their car is getting faster every day, from the top times they are already at our level or even better. So you really shouldn’t write them off.”
