Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, had said, “Ask any racer—any real racer. It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning is winning.” While he was talking about pure racing emotions, Vin in real life has only taken with him the first part of the dialogue. Or at least that is what we saw when the Fast and Furious star arrived in the paddock ahead of Miami GP. When he ‘asked’ the racer, Oscar Piastri, about the color choice and scheme of his mini helmet, the reply to which sent Diesel himself into a hysterical frenzy.

The McLaren garage saw a visit from Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez. The Fast and Furious franchise stars interacted with the driver duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. While the conversations seemed fun for both parties, one specific reel posted by the Woking-based outfit caught the fans’ attention as they slammed the celebrities spilling into the world of speeding.

The conversational exchange saw Vin holding Oscar Piastri’s mini helmet and asking a question nobody saw coming. He asked, “Bro, do you pick the colors?” and Piastri replied, “Yes, I do pick the colors,” hearing this Vin got super excited and screamed, “You are kidding me!!!!” and in a playful jealous tone screamed, “This is amazing” and turned to the team to say, “You can’t ask him to pick the colors too”.

And this is the conversation fans have called out celebrities visiting the paddock without having any real interest in racing.

Fans tear apart American celebrities flocking to the Miami GP weekend and they begin with Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel graced the paddock with his presence, visiting the likes of Haas and Alpine drivers who were very happy to have him but in my opinion, the ‘winning interaction’ is the one with Piastri. However, fans already have their claws out as they declare “It’s a bit embarrassing to watch Americans who have ZERO idea about @f1″. Take a look at some of the comments from the Instagram reel posted by McLaren.

“Get out @vindiesel. This is real racing, not a crazy movie!”

“Describe #miamigp in three words: “all but racing””

“He’s this happy about a driver designing their own helmet 😂 gawd this weekend will be a cringe fest”

“It’s a bit embarrassing to watch Americans who have ZERO idea about @f1 show up to events like Miami looking like they came to a different country to watch a sport that’s not being played anywhere else but there 😂”

And no matter how fun the conversation was for the racing prodigy Oscar and Vin, the fans are already fed up with the celebrity interactions. This is when official track time for the event has not even begun.

“Awkward conversation”

“And so the endless american celebrities who don’t actually care about f1 being shoved down our throats all weekend begins…….”

“What a dumb conversation…”

And while the racing fans are nor pleased with the pouring celebrities and stars, the conversation between the two didn’t do much to change their already set concrete opinion.
