Being a public figure with about ten million followers across your social handles must not be easy. And things don’t get any easier for the person who is in the public eye for nine months a year. You’re always prone to hate and constant trolling. But why are we talking about it? Because one of the budding F1 talents, Lando Norris, has been hit by some of it. And needless to say, he handled it like a boss!

To further explain the subject to you, the Briton has been in Pierre Gasly ‘mode’ for a couple of days. He has been watching people’s stories while also tagging and commenting on them. But one that caught everyone’s attention was a meme, which received mixed reactions from the fans. While some called the post ‘bullying’ and ‘too harsh’, others had a laugh. But in the end, Lando surely had the biggest laugh with his witty reply under the post.

Pardon us, but the joke, both the original and Lando’s comeback, landed well. But with Lando’s joke about jumping with four parachutes, the other drivers might not. Nonetheless, fans praised Norris for taking the joke well but wished he hadn’t come across it.

Fans feel sorry for Lando Norris

There has been n number of instances where the Brit has won his fans’ and Formula 1 fans’ hearts. He won it when he missed out on his maiden win in Sochi in 2021; he won it when he donned a helmet scribbled on by a six-year-old kid; and, of course, he won it with his comment, calling Max Verstappen’s “orange army” supporters of McLaren and himself.

Mind you, these are all in addition to his endless moments on live streams.

Though all these messages consoled Lando, there were also a few who appreciated his wit and reply. From the looks of it, Lando too had fun with it, or at least he makes it look like so.
