While Max Verstappen has dominated the proceedings for the past couple of years, Sergio Perez has been instrumental to Red Bull’s success. Perez has only won twice this season but has racked up 9 podium finishes so far. The next race, which is the Mexican GP, is also Perez’s home race.

Undoubtedly, Perez will be looking to beat his teammate come Sunday, as he races in front of his home crowd. Last year, Max Verstappen won the race as Sergio finished third on the podium. Furthermore, he’ll also look to cement his position at P2 in the driver’s standings as he trails Charles Leclerc by 2 points.

However, Max and Checo sent Twitter into meltdown because of a solely different reason recently. In a video posted by Red Bull on Twitter, Max and Perez took on the tortilla slap challenge.
