The 2022 Formula One season is just around the corner, but it seems the flames of the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix are not going to extinguish any time soon this year. As fans are again talking about the incident that took place between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
The title-deciding 2021 season finale was a neck-to-neck battle bottle between Hamilton and Verstappen. Eventually, Verstappen ended up lifting his maiden Championship while denying Hamilton his record eighth World Championship.
But fans and many F1 pundits believed that Lewis lost the race because of race director Michael Masi’s decision for a late-race safety car. Further, FIA later removed Masi as the race director and established a new body to conduct races in 2022.

But, the race director and F1 received plenty of criticism from fans all around the globe after the incident. One such criticism was by South African comedian, Trevor Noah, who dropped a sarcastic tweet on his Twitter about this incident.
Terrible result for Lewis but great result for F1. Championship decided on the final race, everyone arguing about the rules online and a dramatic ending for the next season of Drive to Survive.
Better to be a controversial sport than a boring one. 🤷🏽♂️😄

As soon as the tweet dropped, it got huge attention from his and F1 fans. But the old tweet is again resurfacing in 2022 just ahead of the Bahrain pre-season testing.
I’ve said it before, Trevor was out of his depth here. There was nothing great about what happened in Abu Dhabi – certainly not for Lewis and not for @f1 either.

Trevor, trying to be controversial so as not to be boring ?Missed the mark . F1 is a sport .The rules were deliberately altered by Masi the Race Director on the instructions of Team Red Bull to rob Lewis of his 8 WDC . This is what he works for .Devastating!

I'll never get over this… pic.twitter.com/TGDas26oQm

Nobody will get over it, but we can't forget that Lewis is reinforcing an issue. It's not about him, it's about the way the war is being handled.

Many F1 fan pages are sharing the tweet; therefore, many fans again responded to the tweet by the South African comedian.

While talking about these excellent women, how can the seven-time world champion not talk about Susie Wolff, the wife of the Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff? However, Susie is not only the wife of the Mercedes boss. But she is also the CEO of a Formula E team and the last woman test driver in Formula One. The Briton ended his appreciation post with a few beautiful lines towards Brehanna Daniels, a pit member of the NASCAR.
