Only a few days ago, Sergio Perez was shelved in favor of Sebastian Vettel for the 2021 Aston Martin seat. Perez’s revelation about the way in which he was dismissed, garnered loads of sympathy from F1 fans. Now even competitors like Carlos Sainz have come ahead to speak on the matter.

Ahead of the Tuscan Grand Prix, the McLaren driver said (translated by Google), “Checo shows that performance is not all in F1. If we judge only by performance, there is no reason why Checo should leave racing Point.
