The season’s first qualification has just been concluded and Haas couldn’t have asked for a better start. Kevin, who returned in F1 this season, couldn’t have returned in a better way. The team, the drivers as well as the fans are all jubilant.

Kevin clocked an impressive 1:31.955 in Q1 with P5 placement. From there on, he qualified in P7 with 1:31.461 in Q2. The best came for the Danish international as he clocked 1:31.808 in his Q3 performance.

What does this mean for Kevin Magnussen and Haas?

This will give the American team a huge boost ahead of their 2022 season. If Kevin can finish from where he will start tomorrow, the all-important 6 points can be bagged by them. Mick Schumacher, another Haas driver Mick Schumacher, to start from P12 on the grid tomorrow.

This has been a huge uplift in terms of performance by Haas. For the first time on many occasions, both of the drivers got into Q2.

Now as things stand, both Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher are in a place to fetch points. If things go well, Haas will have their start of the season with points in their bag, for the first time since 2020, where they bagged 3 points altogether. It’ll be interesting to see if Kevin Magnussen can start off 2022 with flying colors. Can this be the redemption for Haas and Kevin? Only time will tell.
