F1 Driver market shakeup and the frenzy behind the funny Twitter F1 fan video

The top guns, Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari, will arrive with the same pair in the next season. And the Alfa Romeo will also stay with the same combination, but we will see more than half the grid with fresh faces. Following the retirement news of Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso made his move to Aston Martin, making a pair with Lance Stroll. Alpine’s indecisiveness on Oscar Piastri meant that the Austrian moved to McLaren, replacing Daniel Ricciardo. Piastri will be racing alongside Lando Norris who is tied with the team till 2025.

The seat vacated at Alpine is occupied by the French driver Pierre Gasly after Alpha Tauri agreed to free him from the current deal, making him the partner of compatriot Esteban Ocon. Nyck de Vries will join Yuki Tsunoda at Alpha Tauri. Similarly, Nico Hulkenberg is making a comeback as a replacement for Mick Schumacher by joining Hass with Kevin Magnussen. Williams has retained Alex Albon on a multi-year deal who’d get a new partner, Logan Sargeant, in place of departing Nicholas Latifi.
